Web hosting provider?

Ask Lifehacker Readers: Web hosting provider? - Lifehacker

I want to set up a simple web site with a few plain HTML pages. I don’t need a whole lot of fancy bells and whistles like a databases or programming languages, primarily I want something cheap and easy to set up. Oh yeah, and I want to use my own domain with it. Any tips?

Welcome to MusicBrainz!

Welcome to MusicBrainz! - MusicBrainz.org

MusicBrainz is a community music metadatabase that attempts to create a comprehensive music information site. You can use the MusicBrainz data either by browsing this web site, or you can access the data from a client program — for example, a CD player program can use MusicBrainz to identify CDs and provide information about the CD, about the artist or about related information. You can also use the MusicBrainz Tagger to automatically identify and clean up the metadata tags in your MP3 collections.

Random Number Generator

random.org - random sequence generator

The true random numbers are generated using atmospheric noise which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random numbers typically generated by computer programs. If you want to know more, read the introduction to randomness and random numbers or go back to the random.org main page. If you're curious as to who is using these random numbers (for more serious purposes) check out the uses and users page.

"How to use LinkedIn to find a job" from The Intuitive Life Business Blog

One of my favorite networking gurus, Liz Ryan, founder of WorldWIT, wrote the following terrific letter in response to a query on a private mailing list from a woman asking about how to use LinkedIn to help find a job in the graphic design field. I immediately asked Liz for permission to republish it here and I'm pleased that she said yes. Please, read it and learn about professional networking from a true expert...
